What they wanted: A Middle Management Development programme to equip a new tier of managers with skills to succeed in their new roles. Assuming these new positions had been challenging for some people, and there were confidence issues that needed addressing alongside skills development .
What we delivered: A four day introduction to management, covering a range of management essentials including, Managing Self, Managing Staff Performance, Managing Information and Managing Decisions. The programme was enhanced through the inclusion of a management project which ensured learning was applied to real business issues straight away.
Client comment:
“The staff who attended have unanimously said that the training was pitched exactly at the right level as well as being extremely well delivered. Comments such as ‘The best training I have ever been on’ and ‘We worked hard but we had fun too’ were typical of the feedback received. Most tellingly there is already significant evidence of changes in practice and of the training impacting upon everyday work. We would definitely use Skills to Go again and hope to work together more in the future.”
